West Covina Kiwanis Invites all the Children to Walk in the West Covina Children's Christmas Parade followed by Santa's Village Dec. 14th. The West Covina Children’s Christmas Parade is on December 14, 2019 starting at 10am and is hosted by the West Covina Kiwanis Club . The parade is our way of giving back to the community by providing a great no cost event for children of all ages.
The parade route is north down S. Glendora Ave. in the Old Town Center that starts at the corner of S. Glendora Ave and Walnut Creek Parkway. Line-up and late registration takes place at the Bank of the West at 401 S. Glendora Ave starting at 8am . By pre-registering your family and/or group will be recognized by announcers along the parade route and at Santa’s Village . Your name and parade position number will be listed on a hand-out to those watching the parade so that everyone knows who is in this wonderful parade. This parade is for children of all ages and it is a walking parade with no vehicles allowed of any type to ensure safety. We want to meet the needs of all our children in the community so they can walk as an individual, as a family or as a member of an organization such as Scouts, Athletic Teams, Dance/Drill Teams, Schools or Churches, etc. We have children walking alone, parents pulling wagons or pushing strollers, Scouts, Bands, Drill Teams, Athletic teams, Cheerleaders, School and Church Groups, just to mention a few.
